Agriculture is not just an area of activity, it is a lifestyle. SAHO pays serious attention to the development of social infrastructure around its enterprises operating in rural areas.

Bringing up healthy generation

For every company geared toward long-term work, it is crucial to develop the future generation.

Chairperson of SAHO’s Board of Directors Pavel Skurikhin occupies the position of the President of the Leader sports and grassroots club established to involve children in mass and professional sports (free of charge). The Chairperson of the Guardians Council of the Leader club is Lieutenant General Andrey Vedernikov, Head of the Chief Department of State Drugs Control Committee for the Siberian Federal District. By developing amateur sports, Leader reaches high professional results. In 2005 and 2006, the club team won Russia’s national judo championship. Members of the Club became champions of Russia, Europe and the world. SAHO is an official partner of the National Judo Council of the Russian Federation. The club branches function in Novosibirsk, Omsk, and Zvenigorod. Leader is very active in the settlements where SAHO enterprises operate. The Club’s main profile consists of judo and other martial arts. At the same time, children’s ice hockey, basketball, skiing and horse riding clubs are being set up in the villages with the help of the SAHO sponsorship.

Raising quality of rural workers life

SAHO closely works with municipal authorities, has a firsthand knowledge of the current issues, and helps in addressing them. SAHO is implementing a set of measures aimed at supporting pensioners and veterans who used to work at the Group’s enterprises. Developing high-potential personnel is an important part of SAHO’s social work. The “SAHO Scholarship Winner” special program has been developed for school leavers in the rural area. Its main task is to educate a new generation of highly qualified specialists, help them get higher education, and kindle their interest in the prospective work within the Holding’s structure.
